Our Story

As we commemorate the end of the 20-year Afghanistan and Iraq War, often referred to as the "Forever War," we recognize that many dedicated service members are now transitioning out of active duty. These brave individuals, who have stood shoulder to shoulder with their fellow combat brothers and sisters in war theaters, have finally returned home.

However, we understand that the transition from a military life to civilian society is not an overnight process. It's a complex journey, and these honorable men and women may face challenges as they reintegrate into civilian life. At the League of Veterans, our sole mission is to prevent them from falling through the cracks.

We achieve this mission by offering transitional housing to service members who have recently completed their military service. Our comprehensive programs encompass higher education opportunities, skills training, counseling, and personal development. We are committed to equipping these honorable individuals with the tools they need to thrive in civilian life.

Our dedication doesn't stop there. We are trailblazers in advocating for service members through legislative initiatives and extensive networking efforts with Federal, State, County, City, and Tribal Governments. We proudly lead the way as the nation's first organization to champion this cause, with a special focus on the State of Arizona. Through the passage of legislation and the establishment of new rules and policies, we are creating a safety net for military service members during their transition into civilian life, a safety net that has never existed before.

At the League of Veterans, we are honored to serve those who have served our nation. Join us in our mission to support and empower our military service members on their journey to a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference.

The League of Veterans is dedicated to establishing a safety net for military personnel transitioning out of service by ensuring immediate access to housing. Their primary goal is to offer housing solutions to veterans before they find themselves in a state of homelessness, rather than addressing the issue after it has already occurred.
